Perspectives- Envision myself as Elliot

Envision yourself as Russell, Elliot, or Catlina. Describe how you would feel and react to the bullies in the story.

If I was Elliot I would try to get a solution to get out of  other people making fun of me. For example, "Where did you get that shirt - from the dumpster? Who cuts your hair - your mom?"(p.18).  If people said things about me that way I would react different then Elliot"Elliot didn't get mad, he didn't cry, and he didn't seem (to me) to ask for it"(p.18)  I would get mad at them and ask them to stop, and if they didn't I would have talk to my parents for advise at least. If 

I didn't ask them to stop they would keep going on, and on bulling me. So that is why I think I would go up to people and say 'Stop bulling me around'.

Q:Should kids solve their own problems or should adults/parents get involved?

I think that when kids get punch in the face the kids should talk to an adult. Now or later the kids parents are going to find it out, and would the kids rather tell their parents the truth or make up a lie? If the kids lie the kids may have more chance of getting hit again, because the perditors thinks that even if the kids get hit nothings is going to happen to them, and it is okay to do that. In the other side if the kids talked to a parents, and their parents talk to the perditors, there are more chances that the kids won't be punched again, because they know that they are going to get in trouble. But if it is a simpler cases, for example when the perditors says something about the kid, I think that kids should solve it them self so that the peridetors wouldn't think they are tattle-tellers.

Quater1 in Review 2008-9

Last year when I was finishing 5th grade I thought 6th grade will be really hard. I thought that moving up to middle school is scary, because the friends that I have who are in middle school or who was in middle school they told me that the teachers are very scary and they give you hundreds of home works that makes you stay up late. And you get only few hours of sleep. Plus if you are not done with your homework, the next day or the next time you see your teacher you are going to be in trouble. So you can see I was pretty scared.
I thought the home works was going to be really hard but it turned out to be easy then I thought.
I thought opening my locker was going to be easy but it turned out to be little harder then I thought.
Something I had no idea about but turned out to be important was P.E. lifting up dumbles. I never in my life ever thought I was going to lift up bumbles. Plus I never imagined it.
August 14 was the first day of school. I remember the crowded cafeteria. Witch was a chaos. And I remember I had to sit in the stair case and eat lunch with my friends. And I also remember me thinking what if I never get to eat because there is a lot of high scholars and middle scholars.
During August after school activities began, I participated in photography and I remember how to take a better photo. Using the rule of third and angle shots, ext.
September 18 we had class retreats. I remember going to the Gulshan Youth club. And playing games and then go to the American Club and swim in the pool and have lunch there. It was so much fun.
We took ISA tests in October. They were boring. I did not liked it at all.
We have a big break from October 18 - 28. I plan to go online and chat with my friends and watch T.V. And I really did chat with my friends and watch T.V.
There are a lot of changes this year. And there is something that I am really good at is playing comparing to last year witch is playing the Clarinet.
Something I am not so good at is getting the control of computer. I am just bad at it.
Something I would like to improve on would be getting the control of computer. And that is of my big goal.
I remember helping someone open their locker.
Next year I am hoping to be better in the things that I learned today.

How I published my slideshare

I had a mission to post my power point to the slide share website. To do that I first finished my power point presentation. Then I when to slide share and made my account. I then by friend who sits beside me help me. By her help I was able to finish it. But it took a long time for the website to recognize my power point luckily I was able to finish right before the class was ended. It was a relief.
